Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms of Service between you and International Awards Group Ltd (“Cadence”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It sets out the rules for using the Cadence email campaign platform (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Lawful marketing basis required

You may only send campaigns to contacts with whom you have a lawful basis to communicate under applicable law (for example, valid consent, a contractual relationship, or legitimate interests where permitted). You are responsible for establishing and documenting that basis before importing or messaging any contact.

2. Prohibited lists and sources

The following list-building practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Purchased or rented lists. You may not import or email lists that have been bought, rented, leased, or otherwise obtained from a third party where there is no lawful marketing basis between you and each recipient.
  • Scraped or harvested addresses. You may not collect email addresses from websites, directories, social networks, or other sources through scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction where sending to those addresses would be unlawful.

3. Authentic sender identity

You must accurately identify yourself and the business on whose behalf each campaign is sent. Fabricated sender identities, forged “From” names or addresses, and attempts to disguise the origin of a message are prohibited.

4. No deceptive subject lines or content

You must not use false, misleading, or deceptive subject lines, preview text, or body content. Subject lines must honestly describe the content of the message. You must not disguise advertising as personal correspondence or use clickbait tactics to induce opens.

5. Unsubscribe and suppression protection

Every campaign must contain a clear, working unsubscribe mechanism. You must not:

  • remove, obscure, or disable any unsubscribe link provided by Cadence;
  • attempt to bypass or circumvent Cadence suppression lists;
  • re-import or re-email contacts who have unsubscribed, bounced, or complained;
  • repeatedly mail recipients who have previously unsubscribed or objected to your messages.

Cadence maintains platform-wide suppression protections. Once a recipient unsubscribes, bounces, or complains, the system prevents that address from being re-added or emailed from your workspace.

6. Phishing, malware, and harmful content

You may not use the Service to send phishing messages, malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any other harmful or destructive code. You may not include links to phishing sites, credential-harvesting pages, or downloads designed to harm recipients or their systems.

7. Abusive complaint and bounce behaviour

You must not engage in conduct that generates excessive spam complaints, hard bounces, or blocklistings. Repeatedly sending to invalid addresses, ignoring bounce feedback, or taking any action designed to artificially inflate engagement metrics is prohibited. Accounts that cause abnormal complaint or bounce rates may be throttled, suspended, or terminated to protect deliverability for all customers.

8. Prohibited products and unlawful material

You may not use the Service to promote or distribute unlawful products or services, or content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, hateful, harassing, or that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person. This includes, without limitation, content that violates consumer protection laws, sanctions, or advertising regulations.

9. Enforcement

We may monitor, review, or scan campaigns and contact lists for compliance with this Policy. If we reasonably believe you have violated this Policy, we may, without notice or liability:

  • reject, pause, or remove campaigns or contact imports;
  • impose sending limits or require additional verification;
  • suspend or terminate your account and workspaces; and
  • report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities or affected providers.

10. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, please contact us at support@cadencetechnologies.app.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
